why horizon in the middle of picture and so why this is daily deviation? Without offence kjherstin-stock, i said it for admins...

Oh well...if it's any consolation to you, I am sure that I have DD quality on my other photos in my gallery. Especially the macro. Don't forget that this is stock and not an art photo. It has to be usable for stock which it is by far. It is quality. On the left it is blurred because I was focussing on the fort in the distance and beyond that point there is more water as it is a cape where the Atlantic ocean meets land. Not your regular land formation where photgraphic "rules" apply.

I have seen so much on DA. I have been here for 5 years as a member and complaining about DDs is sad. You have to deal with your complexes and jealousies.

What do you mean by horizon in the middle of the picture?

I assume he means that according to the Rule of Thirds the horizon should be placed one thirds from either the top or bottom of the image. Of course, even though it's called the rule of thirds, it's just a guideline, the application of which is often useful.

Oh silly. yes that is a guideline only

My my, that shade of water can't be real. Lovely photo.

This is not my best work but at least I can be proud to say that no postwork is needed or colour enhancements. The water in Portugal is blue
